OUR HEARTWARMING JOURNEY
In 2019, our family began an extraordinary adventure with the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast. Little did we know that it would lead to a profound connection with our feline friends. Fast forward to 2020, a stray cat named Frankie stole our hearts, and we knew he was here to stay. But our story doesn’t end there. In 2021, a visit to a cat cafe in Omaha ignited our passion for this delightful concept. In 2022, we decided to bid farewell to the world of accounting and embark on a new adventure – creating The Kitty Cup in Port St. Lucie, FL.
WHAT AWAITS YOU
Join us and let your love for cats blend harmoniously with your love for coffee and delicious bites. We welcome you with open paws! In our world, it’s all about the purrfect cup, snack, and furry companion.
ADMIRE FROM AFAR
Cat allergies got you down? You can still enjoy your coffee and watch our feline friends from a distance! In our cafe, we have a large 10’ viewing window that looks into the kitty room. This way, you can still come by and have a coffee, glass of wine, or beverage of your choice, and enjoy a sweet treat while you’re lounging or working remotely.

SAVOR & SNUGGLE
Embrace the cozy atmosphere of our cat room while enjoying your snacks and drinks, cuddling and playing with our adorable feline residents. Your visit not only supports The Kitty Cup’s efforts in fostering these cats but also provides you with the opportunity to connect with them, potentially finding your new furry family member.
HAPPY, HEALTHY, & LOVED
The well-being of our cats is our top priority. Before they arrive at the cafe, all our feline friends are given a clean bill of health. They’re spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and thoroughly vetted to ensure they’re in the best possible health.
PAWSITIVE IMPACT
Wondering why there’s an entry fee to visit our cats? It’s simple – your visit makes a difference. The proceeds from your time in the cat room go toward providing a safe and caring foster home for our cats as they wait for their forever families. These fees help cover rent, utilities, toys, cozy beds, tasty treats, essential supplies, and support our dedicated staff who ensure that the cats are content and thriving.
So, when you visit The Kitty Cup, you’re not just spending time with cats; you’re contributing to their welfare and helping us match our beloved residents with their forever homes.
The Kitty Cup Foundation
501(c)(3)
The Kitty Cup Foundation provides a unique sanctuary in Port St. Lucie, FL where adoptable shelter cats can socialize, build confidence, and connect with potential adopters. We have proudly helped over 900 cats find their fur-ever homes!
Every cat has a story. Every cat has a personality. And every cat deserves a chance to show the world who they truly are.
Our mission is to help shelter cats move beyond the shelter environment into a large space in our cat room. Many cats arrive scared, shy, or overlooked. We believe they deserve the time, patience, and care needed to blossom, build trust, and discover that a loving home is waiting for them.
Your donation helps us improve cat welfare, provide meaningful enrichment and socialization, and connect vulnerable cats with the loving families they deserve.
We can’t save every cat alone, but together, we can give more cats a chance to feel safe, be understood, be noticed, and be loved.
Because sometimes, all it takes is a little patience, a little love, and someone willing to give them a chance. Help us give them that chance
The Kitty Cup Foundation is a nonprofit & relies on community support. Donations are tax-deductible
OUR PAWSOME PARTNERS
At The Kitty Cup, we believe in the power of collaboration to make a difference in the lives of our furry friends. That’s why we’re proud to partner with two incredible organizations dedicated to animal welfare. All of our cats are fully vetted, health screened, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated before arriving at the cafe. The Humane Society of St. Lucie County and The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, each official no-kill shelters, were founded in 1956 and 1955, respectively. These two organizations combined find homes for over 4,000 animals a year!
